Acting Colonial Surgeon's Medical Certificate,

I hereby certify that I have examined Mr James Parker and find him suffering from chronic diarrhea with disease of the liver, I am of opinion that owing to his declining health he ought to be invalided home. I would therefore recommend that he be allowed to retire on his pension.
